Here, you’ll discover mead isn’t just a drink; it’s an experience. A golden thread passed down through time, steeped in tradition and lovingly reimagined. Each mead is crafted with care, using honey from our own hives and the abundant fruits and botanicals we gather by season.

More than just sweetness, Foragers honey tells a story of place, season, and care. Gathered from apple blossoms in our orchard, blackberry blooms along the forest edge, and wildflowers that flourish in mountain meadows, each jar is a reflection of the Sunshine Coast’s quiet, untamed abundance, crafted by bees that roam freely through it all.

No two harvests are alike. Spring begins the journey with bright, delicate floral notes, gradually deepening through the seasons into richer, more complex tones. Every batch is shaped by the blooms, the bees, and the passage of time.

Spread it, stir it, or savour it straight from the jar. Raw, unpasteurized, and full of character, however you enjoy Foragers honey, you’re tasting the wild, captured in nature's gold.

You’ll find our Millefiori honey at select local farmers markets — and in the tasting room of our friends at Bruinwood Distillery — when the season is right and the bees have offered enough to share.

The story of the orchard at Foragers meadery

A place where seasons speak and apples listen

Before the meadery, there was the orchard.

Planted with intention and care on the gentle slope of the land rising from the Salish Sea, the apple trees at Foragers meadery have grown alongside our story.

These are heritage varieties, chosen not for perfect uniformity, but for flavour, resilience, and character. Each tree is a living thread, connecting soil, sun, and season into something quietly extraordinary.

The orchard is more than a source of ingredients. It’s a place of rhythm and return, when winter ends and the trees awake to offer blossoms that hum with bees, the summer brings shade and promise, and fall arrives with baskets of fruit kissed by coastal wind and late-day light.

We use these apples in limited releases, infusing our meads with crisp acidity, subtle spice, and an authentic sense of place. When you taste them, you’re tasting the orchard, its patience, its wild edges, and its gentle abundance.

The orchard isn’t just behind the meadery. It’s beneath it, beside it, and woven into the fabric of everything we do, a living reminder that good things take time, and that the land always speaks first.
